At Crawfish Himalayan Limited (CHL), we recognize that the success of our crawfish cultivation endeavor hinges on the strength of our partnerships with local farmers. Collaboration with Desuung
Crawfish Himalayan Limited (CHL) recognizes the invaluable role played by Desuung, Bhutan's national service program, in contributing to the nation's development. We envision a collaborative partnership with Desuung that leverages their skills and dedication to enhance our sustainable crawfish cultivation practices. We propose engaging Desuung members in various aspects of our crawfish cultivation process, including: Pond Preparation and Maintenance: Desuung can assist in preparing ponds, ensuring proper water quality and maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Crawfish Stocking and Harvesting: Desuung can participate in the careful stocking of crawfish fry and the efficient harvesting of mature crawfish. Monitoring and Data Collection: Desuung can assist in monitoring crawfish growth, water quality parameters, and environmental conditions, providing valuable data for informed decision-making.
Collaboration with SCL
CHL and SCL are joining forces to foster a dynamic collaboration that promotes sustainable cheesemaking practices and utilizes crawfish byproducts for innovative cheese production. This strategic partnership aligns with both companies' commitments to environmental stewardship, economic development, and the creation of high-quality products. Harnessing Synergies for Mutual Benefit CHL and SCL recognize the potential synergies that exist between their respective industries. SCL's expertise in sustainable cheesemaking aligns with CHL's commitment to environmentally friendly crawfish cultivation. CHL, as a leading crawfish producer, can provide SCL with a consistent supply of high-quality crawfish byproducts, such as shells and chitin, which can serve as valuable ingredients in cheese production. These byproducts are typically discarded, posing a waste management challenge. However, by utilizing them in cheesemaking, we can transform waste into valuable resources.
